Tjin China Diner - San Antonio

The food was hot and delicious! I ordered the cashew chicken, while my husband had the orange chicken. We came for lunch, and the service was both friendly and quick. It was a little warm inside, so there was no need for a jacket, unlike some restaurants in Texas. My only complaint is that the TVs were playing the news all around the restaurant, which detracted from the lovely atmosphere for me.

This restaurant offers genuine Chinese cuisine at a reasonable price. The scents were bold and memorable. I had an excellent experience with the attentive and professional staff. The food was served hot, and our drinks were consistently refilled. We were frequently checked on throughout our meal. This establishment should be a benchmark for other restaurants in the area. The only downside was the poor service from one waitress, who also had a rather unpleasant attitude. I hope it was just a bad day for her and that she doesn’t treat all customers like that (this is why I deducted a star). On the other hand, the waiter who took over for her was fantastic and really stepped up to make our experience better.

I ordered the Singapore noodles, it had a good taste first, but as I at the lower part of the noodles the noodles we really oily. The waiter was quite ingenious though very friendly constantly to check on us

The food is delicious and very fresh. I highly recommend the General Tsos Chicken and the Black Pepper Beef with Scallions. The spice profile is mild and very enjoyable. If you enjoy spicy then you can request hot oil and also the Generals Chicken comes with sliced jalapeños for an added kick . Combo rice and Combo Lo Mein are the best! Fresh veggies and tender protein! Super Yummy! The service is friendly and very attentive. My family loves eating here, super fast service and the food is hot, fresh, and delicious ?.
