Whiskey Cake San Antonio

Our server was friendly. the mac and the cheese were delicious. the rest of our food was good, but not as good as we hoped. the dining room was relaxed. the selection of whisky was beautiful.

Nicole was a phenomenal server. She did our whole night!

This was our jubilee brunch, we asked to sit on the window, which we were not, although there were many empty tables about the time there. our server welcomed us, and seemed more upset to have one table than anything else. we started with an appetizer (buff sprouts) that are usually amazing, but this time were extremely disappointing. they were hard and because of the fact that we had no knives on our table, we couldn't even cut them through. we asked for the French pressekaffee and when she left it on the table, she said: “See for sure that they wait two minutes before they pour this, and make sure that the tip is slowly pressed down or it will burn it in her face” they continue to show the spits on my face. no spoons to mix our coffee with minimal sweetening on the table and table. when my wife stood up to pick us out of the rule behind us, our server mckayla went directly from us and never offered help. we also ordered a bottle of champagne for mimosas and she never asked us if we had something else, another bottle, more juice. we ordered two escapes, which were at best warm, she checked if we needed something after they were delivered, which we did not yet miss in the right cut. we managed to tie them up to order a whisky cake for dessert, and even that seemed to disturb her. it could be that we have taken time from the socialization at the bar with the other server. we asked about the scary 3x before she brought it to us. our register card was over $100, we ordered an appetizer, freeze, drinks, dessert, coffee. the perfect ticket. if we were secret buyers, that would have been a big mistake. however, she was not wasting time to get the tip of money we left her with zero. I have to give you the last time that we visited wc, the one that was our server and it was amazing! if they were lucky to have jenni as a server, they will not be disappointed.

Our server Sam was excellent and made sure to check our food met our dietary restrictions.
