Ambigu Ca Re Bar - San Antonio de Areco

We stumbled over this café in the darkness at our first night in Areco. We were not sure if it served dinner but were too tired to look for an alternative. Inside it is bright, modern and very attractive. We were offered a menu and a wide selection was discovered. We had pasta and found it excellent. We went back to breakfast on another day that was once again excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As a bonus we thought the prices were very modest.

We came across this stylish restaurant by chance. We were drawn by its slim design and fresh look. The menu offers an interesting selection of picadas and handmade sandwiches handmade bread to beautiful salads and gorgeous desserts. The restaurant has a full bar, a nice selection of wines and the beer is cold. My pasta dish was delicate and tasty. While my husband chose the Serrano sandwich and loved it very well. Ambigu offers a beautiful departure from the typical Argentine Parillo. Prices are reasonable. They open early and late.
