Montana Blanca

This restaurant is a local place in Montaña Blanca, a very small village just a few mins away by car from Maspalomas or Playa del Inglés. It is just off the highway that connects the North and the South of Gran Canaria, and in the vicinity of Playa del Inglés. The service is just fine however the waiters are friendly. The menu is relatively short with about 15 dishes to choose from, which are served in two type of portion sizes: medium or full. We ordered pork, papas arrugadas, fried calamari and a portion of French fries and everything was tasty and fresh. They also have on offer a series of home made deserts and we tried polvito uruguayo, which we as also nice. Price-wise it was on the medium to cheap range for the the type of prices that can be found in the island. This is a place I'd recommend if you have a car and want to try something different not just because of the food but also the atmosphere and the surroundings.

Really loved this place up in the mountain with views to die for. It is what it is. Luxury you will not get here. Good food you will. Service with a smile you will. Good price you will. So impressed with what was served and the guy taking the order was so helpful and efficient as was the waitress (thank you both) We could not eat the fourth plate they served and the waiter came with a box so we could take it with us. The place was packed and people waiting for tables. Well worth a visit and we plan a return visit. Bravo to montana blanca
