Church's Chicken - San Benito

I have always had a positive experience at this restaurant when using the drive-thru option. There is usually no wait time, and I have never had any issues. However, on this occasion, I decided to go inside because the line was long. It was a mistake, as the young employees seemed a bit disorganized and it appeared that orders were being filled more quickly through the drive-thru. Next time, I will definitely be sticking to the drive-thru to avoid any potential issues.

The customer service at this restaurant was excellent. The chicken was fresh and delicious. I was greeted with a smile at the window and received prompt service. They even separated the chicken as I requested and my order was correct. The gassy drinks were also fantastic.

The special menu items are reasonably priced. Dining in the lobby may require a longer wait as it appears that drive-thru orders are prioritized over walk-in customers.

The new Smokin’ Q-Honey sauce is good enough to rival any sauce from Chik-Fil-A. So it doesn’t hurt that Churches, is always open on Sundays, unlike the other place. The new Smokin Q honey chicken sandwich is a bit thin, both the chicken and the sauce they put. However it doesn’t lack in flavor. For a menu item meal it’s not to shabby, with a drink and a side. Make sure you get some extra packets of the sauce because it’s great on salads, nuggies, tenders, even fish honestly. Hopefully it sticks around, but we will see!
