I try not to follow them on instragram coz keep uploading yummy desserts and I can't stop going. I do love the classic Japanese Cakes like Strawberry Short Cake , Roll cakes, roll cake, and of course some of the peruvian tastes... Lemon Tart is good, Fruit Tart as well... gosh. All of them are great. Just... a bit expensive if you compare to other place for a cake... but worth it? yes. You can eat in but there is only few tables so would prefer to ask to go and enjoy with a nice cup of tea.
This was my fifth visit to this lovely place. I tried the chocolate ball covered with peanuts, and I must say, it's my favourite out of all the Yogashi desserts I've tried. It's pretty close to my second favourite, the big raspberry macaron. The one based on coffee dissapointed me; it was alright; and the choco domes are starting to lose it's charm. But, there are so many great options, that I will keep coming back, and so should you.
It was my father's birthday, so, I bought him a cake from Yogahi. The price was 50 soles, but boy was the cake small. So, was it good enough to justify the price? Almost, but no. The texture was incredible, so much better than your average supermarket cake; and the flavour was great. One could actually feel the cacao, instead of the cheap fudge cake supermarkets usually have. So, as a dessert, it was REALLY good. But, just because of the size, I think that it should have cost 40, instead of 50 soles. Despite of this, I will buy it again for my birthday. LOL
