It's Just Wings - San Bruno

I ordered the 16 Bone-In Wings combo with lemon pepper and would rate it an 8/10. The wings were well cooked, juicy, and a nice size, with a light flavor that wasn't greasy at all. On the other hand, the Southwest Cajun dry rub was disappointing, earning only a 4/10—it had no spice and was much better when dipped in the mango habanero sauce. The fries, which were steamed alongside the wings, paired wonderfully with the cheese sauce.

I'm not sure what changes have been made recently, whether it's management or ownership, but whatever it is, it hasn't improved the experience. The flavors that used to stand out have become muted, and the sauces—from the chicken to the ranch—now taste watered down. They used to offer a chicken combo with 11 boneless wings and curly fries, and it was fantastic. Now, they skimp on the fries (which are flavorless) and the overall taste is disappointing. It was a good experience while it lasted, but I won't be ordering from here again.

The food was fantastic—it truly exceeded our expectations! This is the best wing spot our family has tried. Ordering from them made dinner incredibly easy the first time. We’ve been going through a tough time, but we were pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was in the Bay Area. Thank you!

Avoid ordering directly from their website. They use DoorDash for deliveries, but my house number wasn't sent to them, so I never received my food. Getting a refund is nearly impossible because the restaurant uses Chili's to prepare the food, and their system can't process refunds for orders from It's Just Wings. Additionally, DoorDash can't issue a refund because the payment was taken by It's Just Wings.

I had to pause Game of Thrones to write this review! The wings and drumsticks here are packed with flavor and are much larger—about 2 to 3 times the size—compared to Wingstop and Buffalo Wild Wings.
