Red Lobster - San Bruno

The staff needs urgently more training. It took more than 30 min for the first serving, came cold and for the second one it took so long that we cancelled it.

Service was good but the food was too salty for my taste.

I had the all you can eat shrimp several different ways. It was delicious.

Service here was friendly and prompt. I'm pretty sure the person who helped me make my menu decision was the general manager. He even steered me away from a more expensive platter since I had mentioned that I wasn't that hungry. I really appreciated that he considered my needs instead of pushing a more expensive choice.The restaurant is clean and although showing signs of wear is still very presentable.I ended up ordering the fried shrimp and lobster with Cajun fries platter. The aoli sauce was a little too heavy for brunch, so I asked for cocktail sauce instead. The cocktail sauce cuts through the salty and greasy crispy batter coating. Don't get me wrong, I love salty and greasy when I have fried food. Shrimp and lobster were very good. The lobster was nice and moist when I started, but got progressively dryer as I finished the meal. (I eat slow when I eat out alone. So, it would probably be better to finish the lobster before everything else.I must admit that I haven't eaten at Red Lobster for a long time, and I still enjoy their cheesy bread.My server, Lily, was very friendly and courteous as she helped me and the other people at the bar. If you want excellent service I'd recommend eating near the bar where Lily is stationed.I definitely recommend coming to this location for great service and good food.
