Mountain Mike's Pizza - San Carlos

Gluten free and dairy free pizza. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

There was a small problem with the delivery but no biggie. They called and told me. It came but not that late and actually was a very good pizza. A little pricey but everything is nowadays.

They had to redo my order because the oven was not working properly.

This location is a hit or miss regarding food and service. This time we arrived around 5pm and the service was excellent and the food was good, although the pizza order was wrong. We ordered our extra cheese to be put on top of the toppings to keep them from rolling/falling off the pizza, but that did not happen. The time before, it was busy and they misplaced our order and it took over an hour before our pizza was finally made and served to us an hour and a half later. Both times we dined inside the restaurant. No consistent service or food at the La Mesa location. Bummer.

45 minute wait for takeout when I was told it would be 15. The place wasn’t even busy. The one in Clairemont is way faster and busier.Update. After an hour, we just requested the order to be canceled. They didn’t show any empathy. I wish I had not left a cash tip. Horrible customer service.
