New Flower Drum - San Carlos

This American Chinese takeout offers delicious food made with fresh ingredients and generous portions of meat and vegetables, all at surprisingly affordable prices for the Bay Area. The restaurant prides itself on lightning-fast delivery, handling orders themselves rather than relying on third-party services that take a hefty commission. I've been ordering from this spot for years, and they have consistently delivered great food at a great value. I’m so glad to live nearby!

Large portions. everything was good as expected. They do not live very close, but have many paintings here in the run of the years when in the opposite.

Very large portions for the price. we ordered the family dinner for 3. the broccoli cow was delicious! the broccoli was beautiful and crispy, not completely boiled what I love! we were in a hotel near and we decided to walk (10 ish minutes). fortunately we choose this restaurant...big dinner, watching TV after a beautiful day tour in san francisco.

Where should I begin? The sweet and sour dish, orange chicken, beef and broccoli, combo fried rice, potstickers, and chow mein were all fantastic. Plus, three of us dined for less than $40! The only drawbacks were that there were only two shrimp in my dish and the egg rolls weren't very good. Overall, a great experience!

The food here is fresh and delicious. The service is consistently friendly and quick. The prices are also reasonable. I didn't give it 5 stars because it's not gourmet or high-end, but it's a nice and simple dining option—just the right amount of seasoning and very good for the price. I would definitely rate it 5 stars as a casual takeout spot.
