Patrick’s day; the portion was so small: two small slices of corn-ribble, a small kartoffel and a small spoonful! no brot or otherwise what and they have...$17 us! my girl enjoyed the green margarita $5.50, not a bad price, but I feel that eating is overpriced for what they get and it’s just ok!
This place is a great location on its own small and quiet beach. is great to sit on a chair and put her feet in the sand. another thing, the stellar was her abode. so beautiful, healthy and different from anything else. in san carlos for healthy food eater. I ordered but also garnel and rice. the garnels were very moderate, but the rice was terrible. it was actually not edible. dry, hard, greasy, as someone had left the left piece overnight in pot and they did not clean the pot. I pointed it out to the manager, theny or manny, and he was pretty nice and offered me to compose a beet salad when I came back. I felt in order with this solution and went and did not plan to leave this review at this time. when I came back or manny wasn't there. I explained the situation and was told that they were out of the reebral salad. ok at first I thought that was true and asked for a menu to order something else, but although they were the only person there, they never came back to take my order. really disappointing. I'd say the next time I'd go to arbolitos or sunset.
One of the few Mediterranean influence dining experiences in San Carlos. The views are breathtaking as you can sit under the palapa and dig your feet in the sand while you eat. The food was ok. My wife was pleased with her Fish tacos special....The hummus was good. I had several tacos which were ok. We also had bacon wrapped scallops. These were unimpressive. The scallops are bay scallops, so very small. They were undercooked. The bacon wrapped was also undercooked as well as the rice that came with it. The red sauce tasted like water downed tomato sauce with a little side added to it. Overall, the food is ok. May be worth checking out for just the view. Couple with tip, we spent around $45 USD.
Every time we come to San Carlos mexico A trip to La Palapa is a must. The service is amazing and the food and drinks. The best. This place is dog friendly Phil and Benito always ready to serve you with a smile. Don’t miss...the opportunity to visit and dine at La Palapa San Carlos. Live music on Friday, Saturday, Sunday’s and Wednesday night.
One of the very few true 'beachfront ' restaurants in San Carlos. You can dine in the restaurant under the large palapa for more formal style meals, however, we enjoyed taking one of the smaller beachfront palapas for the whole day and sunbathing, sipping cold margaritas and...great greek food that was delivered to you by the friendly waiters. Danny, the Manager, deserves a special mention, as he was always so kind and welcoming. All of their waiters are very attentive! Live entertainment most nights, and Saturday and Sunday from 3pm. We also had the opportunity to see it decorated for a wedding all I can say is 'WOW!!! '
