Nobu Sushi - San Clemente

Was blown AWAY!!! I'm a sushi geek who was lucky to travel around every big city many times over the last 25 years, and I can say I found my favorites. Everything melted in your mouth. The staff from lace to tail was super inviting. I'd give them 10 if possible. The only reason for 4 stars was the 80s hairdresser music that played loudly, nothing even changed after we asked/ suggested that the music is a massive ambiance killer. That said I'm never going anywhere else again.

Excellent sushi. Very fresh. They had everything I wanted, sweet shrimps, fresh scallops, soft bowl crabs. This is my new favorite sushi bar.

Great quality and friendly staff. I get my orders to go. Salmon sushi is excellent: fresh and tasty. Yellowtail is good. Edamame and soft shell crab are good. Teriyaki salmon is a little on the dry side. Decor needs an update.

We are on the road from LA to San Diego, we stopped by for lunch, it turned out to be a very decent sushi place : believe it’s a family business, small place but the menu is very special, recommend the unique soy paper roll or the no rice roll, taste fresh and light : everything we had was nice! Chef was nice, service was good!

I found Malulu via Google maps. I saw they were very highly recommended by the locals. After eating there, I see why. The food was excellent, the service outstanding, and we were made to feel welcome. All in all, what a great experience!!
