Don Mario Pizzeria

I checked for a pizza margerita and was very happy with what I got. Cheese and dough very decent. The atmosphere inside was a bit cold, probably partly because the place was almost empty. The staff was polite. It is possible to pay with the card. Location very good.

Only a few times over 13 days in Chiapas I ate and I at Don Mario's. Great wine, pizza, pasta and service. The restaurant was clean, well maintained and with similar concepts in the USA on 1/3. Price compared. 2 pizzas, 2 pastas, bottle of wine 5 so $76 US. Neapolitan pizza had amazing taste. The pasta made in the house. Make sure to tap your server when you go. Do not tap the table, the administration takes it from them.

Amazing food, great prices. Her pizza was one of the best I ever had, and I've tried many pizzas over the years. Pepperoni and Ham-Artichoke are both highly recommended. Their fresh pastas are also incredibly delicious, I highly recommend the seafood pasta (white wine) for seafood lovers, as well as the Carbonara.

We stayed in San Cristobal de las Casas for a few days and fortunately stumbled over this jewel. The pizza is some of the best we had together in Mexico! Puffy Neapolitan style crust and perfect amount of toppings. There twice a week. All in all, great food, great atmosphere and a very fair price too! Can definitely recommend!

Please go here!! So yummy If it looks empty, please go in and you won’t regret it. They have delicious pizza’s with a thin crust and their pasta’s look amazing. The staff is super nice too! Really good price too. It’s a little further than most restaurants people go to on the mainstreet but make the extra steps for this one!
