Adams Wine Spirits - San Diego

On November 15, 2022, at noon, I had a frustrating experience. The staff member was more focused on his phone than on serving customers. He refused to help me, and didn’t even take the time to get off the phone to process my order. It's disappointing because this place has so much potential, but such a poor attitude from the staff can really tarnish the experience. It's unfortunate that a nice establishment is represented by someone who clearly does not care about their customers.

Clerk: Do you have any questions? Customers: Do you have a bottle of Baker? Clerk: What is baker? (Why does he ask me if I have any questions? He obviously knows three things about alcohol: Jack, **** and Markup. Customers: It's Bourbon. Never, I'll look for it. Help customers with their powerball. Customers: There it is, but... is the price right? EIGHTY FOUR NINETY NINE. Customers: I give you $65. This place is a typical evil neighbor who tries to play a stupid game, we have Burbbunum, you pay what we want. No. You're greedy dirt bag charge 70% markup on a bottle that's just gone thanks to our local Jim Beam distributor (also complicit), which in Los Angeles for $58. These are bad people who want to tear you off. Boycott. Or not. Only you know that if you buy something from this place you will get 're support price gouging.

Frank is the man!!!! He usually helps me. The beer cave is amazing and a great way to cool for a moment while getting a cold drink. I'm coming here almost 13 years. You really have all kinds of alcohol. Just over 500! Come in and see...

I try to stay away from this store to avoid the unpleasant interactions and uncomfortable remarks from the man at the counter. It has happened every time I've visited, so I prefer not to go in.

It isn't normal to review a liquor store, but it was a good experience, the prices were great and the guy working was really nice.. it's my new go to..
