Bandar - San Diego

We opted for the three-course menu during restaurant week, and the portion sizes were absolutely enormous! I ordered the Alaskan King Salmon while my partner had the lamb. We both found the meat to be somewhat dry. It was still good, but the dryness, particularly of the salmon, prevented it from being great. The lamb was ordered medium, but it arrived closer to medium-well. Another friend accompanied us and chose the filet, which she thoroughly enjoyed and said was seasoned perfectly. She also requested medium, but it too came out more like medium-well. I suggest that if you prefer medium, you should order medium-rare instead. All three of us indulged in desserts, which were both beautiful and delicious. The cake portions were quite large and definitely shareable. We dined indoors, and the decor was very appealing, tidy, and clean. We will certainly return to explore more of their menu options.

This restaurant offers an incredible dining experience with excellent customer service. The portion sizes are quite generous, and we had plenty of leftovers for the next day. The food is delicious, showcasing true Persian flavors.

During a recent business trip to San Diego, I decided to return to this restaurant after about four years. I’m happy to report that nothing has changed for the worse! The food remains just as delicious and authentic, and the service is excellent. I brought a colleague along, and she also loved both the food and the service.

We had an amazing experience at Bandar’a restaurant. The restaurant offers high quality Persian food with wonderful service. This is an upscale dinning with really delicious food. The food was on pricey end, but totally worth it. Great Jooeh Kabob , good koonideh and very tender Batg Kabob. We also ordered Dolmeh and tahdig and they were all very delicious. Very Elegant and tasteful decoration when we visited for Christmas. No special events for Yalda tho. The place didn’t feel persian at all. If any suggestions, we would have loved to see a touch of Persian culture. Beautiful place to dine.

We went for my friend birthday to Bandar Restaurant. The food was delicious. Our waiter Edwardo was courteous and attentive. He made sure we were served hot tea constantly(Persians drink a lot of tea). Even the owners took time to welcome us and to sit with us.
