The food is really good…however the price…extremely overpriced. My sweet tea was $5. Just for a plate and the drink it cost $35+. Insane lolFood: 5/5
For me this food is below sub par. There are a lot of soul food places in San Diego. This place is missing something because their food is trash. We spent $50 for small portions of food. We both were super disappointed. The heaviness of the bag did not equal the price we paid. Won't be coming back.Food: 2/5
Hands down one of the best restaurants in all of San Diego!! I grew up on greens and have tried them at tons of restaurants throughout my life, but nothing tops this restaurant 's unique style (truly one-of-a-kind) of mouth watering greens, not to mention their impeccable customer service. If you are ever at Liberty Station, this is a MUST GO TO hot spot. THIS IS LITERALLY SOUL FOOD DONE RIGHT BY SUCH A CARING FAMILY.
Three words...yuck, yuck, yuck. So disappointed in this spot. I stumbled across this spot and thought I'd give it a whirl. I tried the chicken and waffles, sweet potatoes and an order of the beignets. Nothing had flavor and the food was pretty gross. I'm not sure what kinda waffle they made me but it wasn't a good one. You can tell the sweet potatoes are not fresh and very mushy like. Don't bother wasting your money here... smh
