China Max - San Diego

We visited this restaurant for an early lunch and they only served dim sum. This meant that we were able to enjoy delicious dim sum that was quickly served. We ordered from a sheet, marked our selections, and they were then delivered to our table. The food looked just like the pictures in the menu. After 12 o'clock, they also serve other dishes in addition to dim sum. We plan on coming back for dinner.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic. The staff is efficient and always attentive to the tables, although they can be a bit too quick to clear plates. It's always busy on weekends, so I recommend getting there early to secure a table. They offer authentic Cantonese dishes and dim sum, although it can be a bit pricey. I was shocked to hear that the restaurant had a fire and had to close, but I hope it reopens soon. I can't wait to have their authentic dim sum again!
