City Tacos - San Diego

I had never been to this restaurant before, so I decided to sample a variety of their tacos that caught my eye. Some were outstanding, like the Mexicali and chorizo con papa – absolutely delicious! Others were just average. I would recommend giving them a try since the food is good, but it can be a bit hit or miss depending on personal taste. I was a bit disappointed that they don’t offer adobada, as I believe every taco place should have it. While they do put a modern twist on their tacos, some of the combinations feel a bit excessive. Overall, it’s worth a visit, but be prepared for varying experiences!

We had lunch at the downtown ballpark location on 7th Street. The tacos were very good, with the carnitas being the standout. The shrimp tacos were tasty as well. There’s nice sidewalk seating available, as well as indoor options. I believe this location is relatively new.

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and efficient. My only issues are with the parking and the layout of the place. Finding a parking spot is always a challenge, and you have to pay for it. Additionally, the restaurant is located on the side of the street without a dedicated parking lot, which is typical for this area. Despite that, it's definitely worth a visit for a quick meal! No-fuss delicious taco place to stop by. Food served up fast. They had a salsa bar with different salsa and aioli sauces. Got horchata, and a couple different tacos. Very fun and flavorful with quality ingredients.Food: 5/5

These tacos are bomb! If you are drunk after the bars in north park then this place hits the spot. Price could be better but hey these are top notch tacos
