We ended up leaving before orderingServer who sat us initially provided good service and apologized for the noise. If this happens to you, there are lots of good spots nearby
It was good decision to come here for brunch after a night out with friends. The place alone is such a vibe, and the food was exactly what we needed. They have a good selection of food and drinks and the staff made good recs for what food and drinks based on our preference and their own favorites.
What a cute find!! We were strolling down Garnet and noticed this bustling wine bar and decided to pop in. So glad we did!!One they are super dog friendly! We were able to bring our dog into the restaurant with us she had a ball. Two lots of wine and flight options. We did a flight of mimosas (tons of flavors to choose from) and all were amazing!Three great food. The menu is surprisingly large, and everything was tasty. We were there for brunch, so I'll give a shoutout to the Cali Asada Burrito.I docked one star because service was super slow. We sat down and didn't have anyone come take our order for about 15 minutes, and then it was another 15 minutes+ before we got our flights. However, after we got our drinks the waitress was super apologetic and changed the experience for us, so we were very appreciative of that.If you are in Pacific Beach, Crushed is definitely worth checking out for a glass of wine or more!!
Crushed was the first brunch place I was taken to when I first moved to San Diego and loved it but since have moved on to bigger and better more local/neighborhood spots. This location is perfect because it 's located in Pacific Beach right on the main strip. This place is definitely considered trendy so it 's always popping normally with large groups so there 's typically a wait if you don 't have a reservation. As long as your not in a rush it 's not normally a problem since there 's stores and bars all around. The food menu to me is kind of meh, I always struggle finding something to order since I 'm not typically a basic breakfast eater and typically lean more towards savory so I always settle for a lack luster option on their lunch menu. Let 's face it though Crushed is known for their mimosa flights and that 's why you come! They have a TON of fun flavors to choose from compared to other restaurant that carry flights but If you 're not planning on ordering a flight I would say you can skip this place completely but if you are; it does make for a fun brunch with the squad or a cute little date if you plan to hang out in the neighborhood and make a day of it.
We went for brunch the day before my wedding and it did not disappoint! We got lucky with parking on the street but I can see how it can be an issue. Their fries were soooooo crisp and perfect with the giant fish bowl sized drink we ordered. Literally the size of a fish bowl!! My favorite were the duck fries. Service was great! They were attentive and super nice. Ambience was awesome! I love their decor and it's overall a fun place to chill with friends.
