It’s gorgeously decorated, there’s nice ambient music playing in the background, and there are interesting Tequila bottle collections everywhere you turn. The service is great. We were quickly seated; and once seated, our waiter brought over chilled water and glasses. Soon after that, he brought out the fresh chips and salsas…yes, plural, as in three delicious salsas to choose from. We ordered, and our food didn’t take long. I am not a Tequila drinker, but the wine list is good. I found a nice Rebeiro. This was altogether unlike any other dining experience I’ve ever had, in a very good way. I didn’t want to leave. I’m telling y’all, this is my new favorite California restaurant.
The best Mexican food I’ve had in California. The food was incredible, perfectly seasoned and cooked. The margaritas were strong and flavorful. Our waiter was a younger man and very helpful and answered our questions about the menu. Atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Definitely 5/5
My fav Mexican restaurant so far! I love love love it! Ambiance is on the point and also the food! It was my birthday dinner with group of friends. Our server was outstanding! The first time ever when I tell that I don’t like cilantro to a server in Mexican restaurant, I wasn’t judged by him. 10/10. Excellent service! Amazing food, ultimate tequila selection! I’d love to come back again.
Loved this place! The bartender was fantastic, the drinks were delicious, the food was authentic and the service was excellent. Nothing to not like about it! They have over 250 brands 2500+ bottles of tequila! We had the Mexican mule, the blood orange margarita, the tamarindo margarita the hibiscus margarita and they were all superb!
Despite me being in San Diego for 16 years I had never been here….what a mistake. It’s only three minutes away from the other Mexican restaurants in Old Town. However it has superior service and a higher quality of food. I will say it’s a little more expensive than traditional Mexican food but it’s NOT expensive and the ambiance and food more than make up for the additional cost.
