I would say more known for their “vacation” drinks more than eating, fairweather is a hidden gem around the corner of j st. and the ballpark over rareform. can see the action in a good place!
It is a hidden place that is deeply embedded in the abyss that is petco park! I do not expect to eat amazing as it is a cocktailbar first, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the petco and the concert hall / watch party in the far overlooked. pregame, during the game if they have no ticket, or post game a hole in the wall shot should check them before they leave sd.
I propose to pay a visit to the fairweather roof terrace bar. in juni, I organized a team building event with about 50 employees. the owner ted was so courteous and easy to communicate. he even met us before the day of our event, led us back. everyone has raided on how delicious the food and the drinks were. they felt a part of the baseball game that was what we were looking for when we went after the stadium. the best part affordable, affordable, affordable! great work ted team!
Surf’n turf burrito is excellent (and huge) husband and wife are the chefs and owners! great ambiente
We stopped for one beer after the padres and was handed this bill and was absolutely shocked… when I asked about it she said yeah that’s for the 20 Oz beers … looked at the cup and said doesn’t seem right but whatever and didn’t make a big deal about it my curiosity said they were wrong so I took it home to measure clearly not 20 Oz after measurements. Two stars because at least the beer I had was decent. But 13.50$ for a 16 17oz beer is highway robbery. Literally will not be going again.
