Fireside By The Patio - San Diego

I ordered the brisket benny, and it seemed as if they took a piece of brisket, cut it in half, and placed each half on the corn bread. The corn bread was overly sweet, which overwhelmed the taste of the brisket. Other members of our party ordered the pork and were very disappointed by the portion size; it was cut too thin, and the glaze was too sweet. Overall, we were disappointed since we used to love this place. We had excellent service, and I still enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant, but unfortunately, we won't be returning due to the unsatisfactory quality and flavors of the food.

They canceled my reservation citing a non-existent rain without any notification or warning. The service was terrible, and I definitely won’t be going back.

The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The black bean burger was incredibly delicious, melting in my mouth. I ordered the speck burger, and it was the juiciest, most flavorful burger I've ever had. It was my first time visiting, and I was pleasantly surprised at how this place exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be back!

They went back to the menu for brunch instead of buffet much better food

Great venue but service is quite poor. We were sat and waiting over 15 minutes before I went back to the hostess stand to ask for some kind of service. After 20 minutes, we finally got water and a server. We ordered and our meal can but no sign of our appetizer. We drank our drinks and ate our meal. We had wanted a second drink but the server never came back asking if we wanted anything else. When we were done and asked for the check, our appetizer showed up.
