Contribuisci feedbackWhen my meal was served, it had a flavor reminiscent of yesterday’s leftovers—a distinct reheated taste that anyone familiar with good cooking would recognize immediately. The side of tomatoes was mushy and stale due to being exposed to air, while the french fries were acceptable. However, the bread in the basket was stale, and the “butter” served was low-quality, greasy margarine. Throughout the meal, the waitress did not check in to ask how we were enjoying the food or if we needed anything. Instead, she simply dropped off the check and processed our credit card with no further interaction. The following day, I contacted the restaurant manager to express my concerns. He listened politely and stated that the meal was freshly cooked but did not address or excuse any of my other criticisms. Having dined at this restaurant for the past 21 years—approximately 40 times—I have witnessed its decline since the ownership change. Prices have risen by thirty percent, while the quality of food and service has significantly declined. To add to the overall experience, there was a dead fish in the aquarium next to our table. Perhaps the restaurant should consider rebranding itself as the “Dead” Fish Merchant.
