Gyu-kaku Japanese Bbq - San Diego

Our server, Benjamin, was truly exceptional. He was incredibly helpful, kind, and expertly guided us through the menu.

We had a large party and our server Christina was fantastic. The food was good we had several different orders : ordered Ramen with happy hour appetizers. We also had the premium meal for 6 for the hungry group and they devoured it. Meat was good quality and the sauces not too salty. The experience was great considering we had 22 people in our party.

My wife and I went on NYE. First time going here. I have been to other Korean and Japanese BBQ establishments, but this one is our favorite. The service was excellent, the different meats were marinated and flavorful. The side dishes were plentiful. It was an overall wonderful experience, will def be coming back for more.

I really enjoyed the food here. The portion sizes were generous, and I recommend offering rice in small, medium, and large options. Our server, Paris (or Faris), was fantastic—very kind and friendly, exactly what a server should be. I wish they served potatoes like the yakiniku in Japan. I will definitely return!

Great ayce and I love the fact I get smores but the wait time isn't the greatest
