The pierogis alone were tasty, but with the dilled sour cream, they were absolutely amazing. The sauerkraut might just be the best I've ever had—definitely homemade! There isn't much atmosphere, but my food came out hot, fresh, and quick, and it was incredibly delicious. Since they don't seem to have a ton of customers in the area, I don’t mind helping cover some of the rent and labor costs, even if the pierogis could potentially be a few dollars cheaper. It’s definitely worth making a trip to try them! (They had a special today for butternut squash pierogis, but I wanted to stick with the classic potato and cheese on my first visit!)
The potato and cheese pierogies were absolutely delicious! The sauerkraut was excellent, and I really appreciated the fun decor inside. I would definitely come back to try more dishes.
I visited the restaurant and inquired about the menu. I asked the person behind the counter for recommendations, but he seemed annoyed by my question. He mentioned that everything on the menu is good. When I asked what dishes are popular among customers, he just pointed at the menu again, reiterating that everything is good. Since I wasn’t familiar with the cuisine, I requested more information, but he told me to read the menu instead. I expressed my preference for a personal explanation, but he insisted that I look at the menu again. I suggested taking a photo to share with a coworker, but he abruptly interrupted me, saying that there was limited availability. Eventually, he came out from behind the counter and told me to leave the restaurant. I felt threatened and uncomfortable, as if things might escalate. Based on the disrespect I experienced, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Walked in and the worker looked at me like I was a piece of trash. Ended up not ordering food because of the bad energy. I go to school around the corner and most of the people I talked to had similar experiences. Even the teachers recommended that I don't go here. Not my loss.
Terrible place buddy asked for their top recommendation gave attitude and kicked him out for literally nothing not sure if this place is up still but now it's a open business don't recommend anyone coming if you are visiting or even if you are from San Diego i see why the place is always empty.
