Hot Or Not Thai - San Diego

Based on an earlier review, I asked the waiter who could be made vegan to the curry dishes. He said everyone. but when I confirmed that they did not have fish sauce, he replied that they would all do and therefore none of these dishes could be vegan. I wounded the order pad they see ew without ice or fish sauce, and it was quite delicious, but of course I could not be sure that it was 100% vegan.

I would highly recommend checking this place. it is very small and cozy with some large outside seats next to tiki torch. owners and cook are both very nice and courteous. they are currently byob (no price,) which is fantastic. I am vegan and in the rule find that Thai places easy to find options on. that's not an exception. I got the mixed green salad that was pretty good. for my escape I had the yellow curry court with tofu and it was one of the best curry dishes I had so far. they added chili pepper flock on the top that it was quite spicy, but the taste was unreal. we also tried the mango sticky rice and it was also incredibly good. most nudel / curry dishes can be used here for the absorption of vegans. I also liked that the courts were not excessively oily as many Thai places in the city. the only recommendation I would make is that the restaurant inserts a fresh spring roll into the menu as an app.

This restaurant is low key and a good for a nice quick bite and then off to your day. Service is excellent, flavor and portions hit the spot. I do wish the Tom Kha soup had more depth in flavor and I like my pad Thai slightly sweeter but overall the flavors were great and the ingredients were fresh and tasty.We had the Tom Kha veggie soup, chicken panang curry, chicken pad Thai and sweet mango sticky rice. I would definitely come back.Street parking has a 2 hour limit and the availability of parking is minimal. Great spot for locals in walking distance.

This Thai restaurant is our favorite spot to dine at! The portion sizes are generous and the spice levels are just right. I always order the pineapple curry and my boyfriend usually gets the fried rice and pad thai, and we always rate our meals 10 out of 10. Overall, the food gets a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.
