Fabulous food, generous portions delicious Mai Tai drinks! Such a fun vibe and the service was exceptional!! We will be back for happy hour!

My adult children and I were looking for a late-night dinner and decided to hit Islands after our other choice was a no-go. We were immediately welcomed and seated, and our very friendly and sweet waitress brought drinks. For our appetizer, we chose the guacamole and chips (freshly made! and were not disappointed! They were crisp and delicious. The guacamole was very good and the salsa was excellent! I had the grilled fish tacos. We all loved our food. I thought I'd plow right through those three tacos, but after the chips, I only managed two. I saved the last one for lunch today (as well as my daughter's yummy leftover fries! and had a second truly enjoyable meal. I cannot compliment the management and staff highly enough. First, for hiring friendly, energetic staff and second for having excellent food, generous portions, and a great atmosphere. I know the Padres were playing (on screens all over , but I miss watching the surfing videos. Do they only play them during the day or something? Sacrilegious I know, but maybe they could have had some tv's on surfing and the rest on the game? I'll be back!

Burgers and fries are delicious! Great customer service. Everyone was so pleasant. Our first time eating here, definitely not our last!

I dined at this restaurant with a friend and we both thoroughly enjoyed the food! I sampled the tuna dish and ended up ordering a tuna sandwich on gluten free bread. I opted for extra crispy fries on the side. My friend started with the fried green beans as an appetizer before digging into her burger. The green beans were a pleasant surprise - hot, fresh, and crispy. My sandwich was loaded with tuna and absolutely delicious. The fries were cooked perfectly to my liking. I had plenty of leftovers and my husband raved about how good they were. It had been a while since I last visited Islands, but it definitely lived up to my expectations.

This restaurant is great to visit during happy hour from 4-7 Monday to Friday, with discounts on wine and beer ranging from $2-$4 off. They have a good selection of snacks available. It is required to sit in the bar area, where you can enjoy excellent food. The sliders served in lettuce are particularly enjoyable.
