Knotty Barrel - San Diego

This is a nice bar to visit if you're looking for a drink. The food was good, though there’s definitely room for improvement. The staff was friendly, but the prices felt a bit high for what you receive.

This is undoubtedly the best smoked brisket in San Diego! I can't recall the bartender's name, but he was incredibly friendly and accommodating on Friday. And just so you know, the inside joke about Elizabeth and Monica is fantastic! The owner, who is a true master of BBQ, is amazing, and his wife told me she would give him two hugs from me as a reward for his grilling skills. You definitely need to check this place out!

Great location downtown with lots of TVs. I really enjoy the chicken club sandwich here!
