The lettuce wraps were a let down. The chicken looks like it was chewed up and spit out. The texture is so weird. It's way too sweet, even without the dipping sauce, which is also sweet. Would not order again.
Stopped by for an early lunch the other day, we were seated right away. In general this location has PLENTY of seating, a bar area, and an outdoor patio. I appreciate that they have a sign stating the patio is also for guests with pets, and to consider that if deciding to dine out there. So pet friendly for sure. Our server was really helpful and attentive. I ordered the Baja California burger, with Cajun fries. The burger was good, a little messy though. The only let down was the Cajun fries, which didn't really have the Cajun flavor I'm used to, they had a slight lemon taste to them. Overall, if you've been to a Lazy Dog chain, you'll know what to expect. I'd definitely come back.
The buffalo wings were fantastic! They taste just as delicious as they smell! The menu is extensive, but I noticed that the Gluten Sensitive options were quite limited, offering only about six items. In contrast, the regular menu spanned six or seven pages, which was a bit disappointing as I was excited to try more dishes. On the plus side, the service was good, and I appreciated the ample space at the bar. I ended up ordering the Pad Thai, which was gluten-free but contained some soy. Personally, I found the flavor to be a bit too tangy for my taste. I requested some spices, sauces, and salt and pepper, but they didn't quite remedy the taste for me. Now, let’s talk about the build-your-own sundae! Next time, I plan to order three servings of buffalo wings!
I just visited Lazy Dog for the first time with a large group, and overall, it was a good experience. The food was tasty, and they offered great lunch specials with generous portions. However, I did have a couple of issues. First, the service was just okay; the staff didn’t check in on us very often. I only ordered a salad, which was good, but my companions needed various items for their meals and found it difficult to get attention. When dessert time came, my family said everything was tasty. However, when the bill arrived, we were shocked to see that a single slice of Funfetti cake was nearly $12! That felt like a bit of a rip-off.
I went for brunch with my friends yesterday. Our server Mary was fantastic, and sitting outside was lovely. Unfortunately, the service overall wasn’t great, and the dish I ordered made me quite ill. I had the brunch chicken biscuit, and it caused me food poisoning, so I couldn’t eat anything else for the rest of the day.
