L&l Hawaiian Barbecue - San Diego

I had high hopes for this restaurant after a couple of friends recommended it, but I found the food to be greasy and lacking in flavor. I was very disappointed.

Caution! A Negative Dining Experience I urge you to be cautious about dining at this restaurant. The food appears to be prepared in unsanitary conditions. My family and I had a meal there and ended up vomiting due to food poisoning.

Delicious food, but the service is awful! This was my third visit, and I was disappointed to find there was no mango ice cream available. The owners are reducing portion sizes, serving only half a cup instead of generous swirls. I won’t be returning to this location!

The food is sooooo good here! I love it so much I came back 2 days later and got it for the entire office. One and only thing that gave them 4 stars on the service is the time of wait to order and get the food.Tip call and order prior to going or they only have 1 girl that takes orders at the counter and has to take orders over the phone as well so long story short she is working hard but you might wait 20 minutes to order depending how busy it is.. Bomb food though love it!!

Excellent service, delicious food, massive portions, and very affordable! You can’t go wrong eating here! We definitely will be back
