I got the california burrito last time and it was good, but I was not as impressed as I am with the queen. all hagelquesadilla. atmosphere modern, simple. it has a quick feeling for it. price as I said above, they can't beat the chickenerquesadilla. ask?
We went after a Padres games, and it was obviously super busy. I definitely plan to revisit when it’s not so crowded to see if the food is any different. Also, I want to try other items from the menu. I’ll say, despite the crowd of fired up and probably mostly drunk customers, the staff was friendly and upbeat. I got a fish taco and a shrimp taco. The shrimp taco was seriously amazing. The shrimp were nice and big, not overcooked, and the seasoning and flavor was great. The fish taco was nowhere near as good. I’ll certainly try it again when the place is less busy but overall the fish lacked flavor and was super mushy.
Saw the carne asada fries on a must eat list. I wouldn't call it a must-eat, but it's satisfying, and even this small order seemed like a huge quantity.
Tried their carne asada fries and they were delicious! Wished it had more cheese but they came out quickly and hot. My friend tried the jimmy changa and I guess it was prepared differently then it is here in TX (food on the outside versus inside) and said it was okay but the meat was good! Worth trying out!
Was here during Comic Con weekend. The burrito I ordered tasted good, but lacked a lot of meat. I feel robbed when I order a burrito that is more tortilla, than the desired protein. It feels like it falls apart whenever I bite, because of the simple fact it lacks the asada meat. There shouldn't be gaps inside when I bite.
