Nara Sushi - San Diego

I had a great experience with the food, including both the sushi and appetizers, and I appreciated the selection of Japanese beers. The staff was courteous and friendly, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere. The ambiance was satisfactory, and the prices were quite reasonable. I really support the concept of zero food waste! However, I was disappointed by two issues, especially given the restaurant's reputation: there were flies on the table, and one of the glasses had a broken edge. I hope these concerns will be addressed in the future!

We had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The ambiance is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the staff is wonderful with prompt service. We will definitely return, even if it means driving for about an hour!

Absolutely outstanding staff and sushi. Our waiter was so delightful that I can't find the words to describe him; I regret not catching his name, but he was a young man with excellent English. The sushi was impeccable, just like always at Nara. I’m not sure what makes it so unique—whether it's the ingredients or their preparation—but it has the authentic flavor one expects. I love sushi and have tried it in many places across Denmark, but none can compare to Nara.

I always have a vegan selection of sushi and green tea. The avocados are ripe and tasty. The service is professional and the quality on point. Recommend!

The sushi at Nara, is wonderfull and of a very high quality, the sushi is prepared in an open kitchen for anyone to see and you can tell that the staff is very skilled. I would definitely recommend eating here.
