North Park Beer Company - San Diego

Overpriced and dreary establishment falsely marketed as trendy with homemade sausages. None of the sausages were exceptional. The service was poor and disorganized. The separate ordering processes for food and drinks were confusing. I have no desire to return – there are plenty of better options nearby to explore.

Had a great collab beer with north park and definitive brewing while in portland maine. was delighted to check the actual brewery during a last trip to san diego. not disappointed! one of the favorites during our trip.

The beer was good, but the female bartender seemed unable to smile and made it clear that she was annoyed by our request to rehearse our order. It appeared she dislikes her job and would be better off doing something more in line with her feelings. When we voiced our complaint to who we thought was the manager, it turns out they were just another uninterested coworker. It seems the establishment's management is not concerned with their employees being dissatisfied with their work.

I believe that North Park Beer deserves more recognition than it currently receives. During my visit to San Diego, I noticed that it was included on several brewery lists, but it never seemed to rank at the top. In my opinion, the venue was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the beer was superior to almost any other brewery I visited. I would gladly return for a flight.

Great location! I've been a San Diego beer guy for decades. I can confidently say that NPBC brews the tastiest NE-style IPAs in the entire city. Excellent beers all around, with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.
