Pauly's Pizza Joint - San Diego

I've tried a lot of pizza around town, and without a doubt, Pauly's is one of the best! If you want a quick recommendation without reading the whole review, here it is: Pauly’s is fantastic! I've been visiting this place since my days working in MiraMar, and their classic slice has consistently satisfied my cravings and put a smile on my face. The pizza has just the right amount of flop, the cheese-to-sauce ratio is spot on, and the quality of the cheese is excellent. The crust is good too! Overall, on the Portnoy Scale, I rate this pizza a solid 7.5. I’ll always make a stop for a slice whenever I’m in the area!

Fantastic pizza! This is a classic New York pizzeria that truly captures the authentic taste of NY pizza. The slices are enormous, made with top-quality ingredients, and the service is friendly. The prices are just right. I’d give it 100 stars!

The best pizza I've had in San Diego! The thin crust is perfect, the toppings are fresh, and the prices are reasonable. The dedicated chef clearly puts a lot of love into his pizzas. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

The people the pizza all great!!!! Of course I can only have the gluten free pizza. Everything we get looks great and so cheesey! Taste great too This is a must try!

Awesome Pizza..!!! This is small New York style pizza joint. Few tables for dining in. Good slice options. We had all veggie pizza and it was best as it look in picture. Very very friendly staff and best service. We will definitely try other menu options in next visit.
