Amazing food. Cool atmosphere. Chef was really chef'n!! Will definitely come back next year when we visit mira mesa again.
Way over priced for what you get and with far too much salt.
I had the Arakasaka K-Town Kimchee Ramen and it was better than the birth of my son. The restaurant had to be cleared so that I could indulge in my carnal moans and subvocalizations in peace. I lay myself prostrate before the chef and wept, he kissed my forhead and a mourning dove sang the song of freedom. I will never forget you, and I will never forgive myself for getting full before finishing this masterpiece. My life finally has purpose.
The original location is always crowded, so we decided to try this one instead. I visited just before noon and was the first customer. We ordered the black garlic ramen (I forgot the exact name), which was flavorful and tasty. Unlike most ramen, it wasn't too salty. We also ordered karaage and the flame-fired Kurobuta spare rib donburi. The karaage was just okay—too dry, and the portion was too large for an appetizer. They could reduce the portion and lower the price. For the flame-fired spare ribs, I expected grilled ribs, but they were fried and served over rice. The ribs were tender but too dry to eat with the rice. Overall, the ramen was great, while the other dishes were just fine. The staff was nice and attentive.
