Ruth's Chris Steak House San Diego

I celebrated my daughter 10th birthday. she wanted a place that served steak, because she didn't say birthday parties anymore. she loved every moment from the birthday confetti on the table to our wonderful service of mary and the rest of the staff. we will come back here, everything was phenomenal.

The waitress didn't offer me another drink. was prepared for another one early. we ordered two steaks. was a good hot temperature. the other was warm. was not good. it took forever to get the waitress attention. have alway a great culinary experience there. that was a break.

I usually give it 5 stars but not this time. It took a unusually longer time to get out food after the appetizers. When our food did arrive my steak was undercooked so they had to bring it back to finish it. Which then my husband didn't want to continue eating his dinner while I didn't have mine. Very unlike Ruth Chris. When you spend 300 for a nice dinner you expect more.

Everything was incredible as usual’n. Our server was good when we could find him. It was moderately busy though! Food was prepared perfectly’.

Excellent steak! Service was fine but lacked the proper training of attention to detail like providing serving utensils for shared plates, checking in with us during the meal, and (my biggest pet peeve) when the staff is clearing dishes before everyone was done with their meal. Too expensive for service that is not top notch.
