The food is excellent; I usually go for the bun with BBQ pork or imperial rolls paired with peanut sauce instead of fish sauce. It's a charming little spot with amazing food! If you're ever at 99 Ranch on Balboa, make sure to stop by!
Food tastes alright, broth was good but the portion size is lower and price bud higher than market value.

Service was very friendly, but I should have listened to my spidey senses when I asked a question about the noodles in Vietnamese and they responded with confused looks (they did not speak Vietnamese). After paying $13 for a bowl of filet mignon pho, I didn 't expect the bowl to be so measly. It was 4 5 pieces of meat and so few noodles that when you stir it around, you see the bottom of your bowl. I also assumed filet mignon pho was pho tai the traditional rare cuts that cook in the broth, but they came out precooked (and overdone for that matter). Definitely better pho options elsewhere, but I 'm hoping the reason this place gets decent reviews is from its other items.
I felt thirsty in 99 ranch market so went to get a drink and I love limeade drinks! They’ll forever be my favorite beverage in this world. So I purchased the sparkling limeade from Saigon5 and it reminded me of Braums limeades. Phenomenal nearly a perfect balance of carbonation with some lime. -YUM
