Concerns about the hostess decision-making and pressure handling persist. On padresgameday, they made risky choices, resulting in turnovers (of customers). Under pressure, their performance suffers, necessitating improvement for success in the restaurant industry.

As soon as the waitress came to the table she announced our server was on break but she would do us a favor and start a drink order. The app was not working and when I mentioned that she was very condescending asking if she could help me. I happily agreed then she realized it did not work that I'm not stupid. Got us a crumbled up paper menu for a table of 6 to share. She ended up being our server for the entire experience. The food came quickly but was luke warm and the fish and chips were horrific. Chicken bowl was bad. Nobody enjoyed and it felt like we were imposing. Fun location next to hall game but won't ever go again

We had our wedding at Venue 808, so Social Tap Catering was our food vendor. First off, let me say how absolutely amazing they were. Jake, the chef, was absolutely wonderful and was so open to any suggestions we had in terms of what kind of food we wanted. They also opened the restaurant early one day just so they can provide us with a private tasting. 10/10 stars.Desiree, who is the catering sales and event manager was PHENOMENAL. We probably bugged her with so many questions, and she was always so kind and helped us out whenever we needed. Plus, the sweetheart table and chairs they provided us were so beautiful, so we were definitely thankful.Finally... our wedding was during an away game, so Social Tap was going to close at 10. However, after asking Desiree if we could do our after party there, she immediately said yes, and that they 'll keep the bar open for us. We definitely did not want to keep the staff up just for us, but she was so kind and insisted.To the staff that stayed longer to deal with us drunk folks, THANK YOU. You all were amazing, and really made our experience wonderful. Shoutout to Anna and Ryan who helped us out during the wedding too!!Overall, love this place, the people, and the food!!

Great service. Amazing food. Had the Goat cheese salad Korean Chicken Sandwich with awesome waffle sweet potato fries. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I liked this place and the food and service were great. What I didn't enjoy was having to download a garbage app called union-pos in order to place orders. It was a very intrusive piece of bloatware that immediately got removed from my phone once the night was over. All it did was play ads every chance it got. When a business utilizes a qr scanner code to access its menu, that menu should be browser based, not app based. Other than the annoying app, this is a cool place to come eat and hang out, but certainly not the cheapest.
