Sportsmen's Seafood - San Diego

I have to start out by saying the staff is great here . They were engaging and very nice . I see reviews saying the food wasn't great and maybe it's because it is set up as a sort of fast food type atmosphere but with that being said it's beats the heck out of other fast food we have eaten ! Thanks again for the great food and we will be back the next time we are in town!!

Disappointing. Daughter had fried shrimp. It was dirty and over fried. I had the fried halibut taco. It was also overfried. The mayo and cheese didn't do it any favors. The only thing it has going for it is convenience.

Such a disappointment. I asked for sushi cuts and they dropped the ball. It was written on the order slip, the one vacuum bag with the order details again.... Yet my entire 160lb personal best bluefin tuna was chunked into 1lb cuts. Quintessential you had one job moment.

Fish was a little bit dry, chips were well seasoned. Cool location at the harbor.Next time I will try the clam chowder.

My meal, halibut plate, was over cooked but the rest of the family got fried seafood which was good. Willing to give it another try. Love the rustic on the docks vibe and the exotic fish tank was a show stopper.
