It wasn't bad, but for the price I expected more flavor. Next time, I'll just make my own at home and freeze it.
We have visited this restaurant several times and always had a great experience, but last night was quite different. We are a family of six and ordered a lot of food. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese, but she didn't like it. I politely mentioned to the waitress that my daughter was unhappy and asked if we could exchange it for a waffle. The waitress was extremely rude and stated that there would be no changes to our order. Fortunately, the manager heard us and kindly brought my daughter a waffle. However, the waitress continued to hover around our table and whispered to us for the rest of the evening. I would have liked to stay longer and have more drinks, but her behavior made me so uncomfortable that I wanted to leave. It’s disappointing, as we’ve always enjoyed this place. Next time, we’ll consider going elsewhere.
43 to get a pulled chicken sandwich, white meat fried huh, side of the road mais and keks delivered. the sandwich was a creepy sumpf, which seemed like a gallon of the BBQ sauce. sloppy, soggy and inconspicuous on each level. Even the tie seemed to be mixed with BBQ sauce. I found a huge piece of an inedible, unidentifiable chicken part in my sandwich. this sandwich would never have left the kitchen. the white meat chicken of my bf, which we have assumed, meant that the breast was a wing with a small part of a breast. he said it was dry and not as good as any almost food fried chicken. biscuit was also dry. only ok was Mexican streetmais. save her money and go to popeyes.
The two stars was because the cashier was polite through all of this, otherwise it would have been a one star. I would not recommend coming here and if you do. Do not order anything fried. When I stayed in San Diego years ago I loved this place but the food has truly gone down hill since then especially to be so expensive. I came for a visit today and ordered three whole wings fired crispy to go.When I got to my hotel I opened up my food to eat my chicken and there was so much grease inside the chicken, the skin was fried but the meet was slimy. This is usually a sign that chicken is fried to fast or bad spoiled chicken has been fried from what someone had told me who owns a restaurant.I went back into the restaurant with my food and told the cashier and asked for chicken fingers instead and she told me that they do not take food back once it has left the building. I told her I never heard that before and that is odd because how would a person know something is wrong with their to go order unless they got home and started to eat it?She understood what I was saying and went to ask her manager after I politely insisted that my order was not “eatable”. She came back and said that the manager said they will only swop the three wings for another batch but not anything else. I had no choice so I had to agree. I did not want wings again bc if they messed them up the first time then my thought was they would do it again. They did mess them up again and it was the same issue, the outside was crispy but the inside extremely slimy and field with grease. I just threw them away and lost my money bc they did not want to allow me to change my order.
