Subway #50758 - San Diego

I had a really disappointing experience at Subway today, and I was looking forward to eating there since it's been over a year. When I asked the young man behind the counter to toast my sandwich—since that's what the menu indicated—he responded in a very rude and hostile manner. As a woman, I felt unwelcome. It seemed like he expected me to already know how he was preparing the sandwich. I also had to repeat my request for jalapeños and olives three times to the other female worker, as if it were such a challenge to add those toppings. It's such a shame because I was excited to be there. I definitely won’t be coming back anytime soon.

The young man was an outstanding sandwich artist. It's refreshing to see someone who genuinely cares about the quality of the food. He deserves a raise and should definitely be kept on staff!

The service at this restaurant was extremely rude, and the staff seemed indifferent to the customers. They charged my card with extra fees, which was frustrating. As a franchise location, it felt like they had little regard for the quality of service provided. I observed the way they treated other customers, and it was quite demeaning. Additionally, I was concerned about the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of the place. I've decided to report my observations to the health department for further inspection.

It was enjoyable visit. I was taking my early morning walk and that morning the way I went took me pass a Subway that is open 24/7. That's good some nights I cant sleep and I end up at a convenient store buying junk food which isn't good for me becauseI'm pre diabetic. I went didn't have a clue what I wanted. The sandwich makers were very helpful and very pleasant. That wassuch an awesome day and Subway played a big part in that because it help start my day in health positive way.

Piece of plastic in my sandwich. Looks like a piece of plastic from the bag that contains the tuna. Absolutely gross. But the lady making my sandwich was super polite and sweet. Probably not her fault but still this is gross
