Sushi Nekosan - San Diego

In addition to waiting time, it is worth it! Sushi is my favorite food and I'm always ready to try new things. We had an aloha roll that was filled with Macadamias and it was so delicious. Also had a damp role and the name hits home when you have your first bite. We also had the cattle gyoza that was not too impressive. But the sushi is amazing. We also have a crispy rice roll and if you love crispy rice, you will be in love with the roll. Loved the texture and aromas of everything.

I had the spicy tuna and the dirty blonde. The spicy tuner was not so great, great, no spices and very little taste different. However, it was definitely very fresh. The dirty blonde on the other hand, was one of the best roles I ever had in my life. Service was good. Based on the conversation with a few other people there were several times, I would definitely recommend going, but I would focus on their special roles. You'll be happy to be safe.

We had a wonderful experience in this restaurant. We immediately sat in the open terrace and immediately enjoyed the youthful, exciting and high-beat atmosphere of the place. Our waiter was charming and attentive, smiling and laughing with everyone and the rest of the staff were also fun. The best surprise came when we all ordered the Sashimiter individually, and they add it together in this a magnificent dish with incredibly fresh, varied and delicious fish! What a treat!

Came here for lunch and will definitely be back! Delicious Sushi and Karaage. We thought the prices were good and we were happy with the napkins. Our waitress was excellent. We sat outside and it was a little cool in the shade, so they turned on the outside heaters. They had little chiffel helpers for the children who were thoughtful. Love they had vegan options!

I tried the Sweetie Pie Roll and was pleasantly surprised! It’s different from any sushi I’ve ever tried, and it’s now become my favorite. I love the fact that they have a separate section in the menu for the (many) vegan sushi options. I really recommend this place to vegans!
