Tavern At The Beach - San Diego

I always have a wonderful time at Tavern. Meg and the rest of the staff are fantastic!

Little Meg was exceptional! She had a level of awareness at the bar that no one else, not even her colleagues, matched. She made eye contact and acknowledged me before another bartender took my order. She has the remarkable ability to manage multiple customers at once while simultaneously attending to various business needs. If I were a manager at this establishment, I would recognize her potential to contribute significantly to our success and promote her to a position where she could truly make a difference. She is definitely someone who shouldn't be overlooked.

This is a wonderful place! The bar staff are friendly and very helpful. I will definitely visit again.

This place is like that silver chain you bought for your girlfriend back in high school but somehow it got a knot in the chain before you could give it to her so to cover it up you tied a bunch of other knots in the chain so it looked like it was supposed to be there. But then the chain was too short to go around her neck, so you called it a bracelet, and she broke up with you 2 short days later. Superior happy hour for the drinks, but I haven't had the food yet. And yes, we're still friends.

One of my fav spots on garnet. Great food and drink selection and awesome service. Had the cucumber sour on draft and loved it!
