The Morning After - San Diego

Very quiet crowd. $18 bottles of champagne with good juices for mimosas and the service was great. Food and ambiance ok. I think it might be newer so it hasn’t caught on yet everyone did love the beignets with the sweet bacon on top

We arrived about 11am and had to wait for service. The mimosas were syrupy sweet, the shrimp and grits was surrounded by 1/4 cup of seasoned butter and the chicken and waffles lacked flavor. Would not visit again

I was there for breakfast. Only person there at first. Music was on and enjoyed the atmosphere! Server was excellent. Food was great! Fruity pebble pancakes is the way to go!!

Visited San Diego for my husbands birthday weekend and heard about this place from the host at a natural hair expo stopped in for brunch and couldn’t order a mimosa they ran out of Champagne, server took forever to come get our order finally ordered food almost an hour later no food server never put it in. So we left with nothing only had a coffee . Definitely disappointed I didn’t get to taste the cereal French toast and shrimp and grits

We reserved a table for 6 for a bachelorette party for a Saturday at 11:00. They accommodated our new party of 8 with no problem. We sat down for probably 20 minutes before somebody came to see what we wanted to drink. We ordered waters, mimosas and **** Mary’s and a coke. We received our waters about 15 minutes after that. No reason to wait that long. And then finally when we were there for almost 40 minutes someone came to get our order! And when we asked where are drinks were she said they are coming but the mimosas would take even a bit longer because they ran out of champagne and a busser had to to run down the street to get champagne. Who runs out of champagne on a weekend for brunch when you offer bottomless mimosas? The food probably took a total of 15 minutes to receive everyone’s food. Absolutely ridiculous. I will say the food was great though! Everyone loves the food, which is why I decided to give two stars. The waiters literally were walking around on their phones and looked really overwhelmed and like they had no idea what they were doing. Zero customer service and terribly disorganized. People were walking out and canceling orders because it was so disorganized. Never will be back.
