Served atop a citrus kale or pale green bamboo rice and completed with topping (the watermelon radish, mango, and garlic chips are strongly recommend). If you are partial to tofu, no worries, that have that too.
I had a great experience at this restaurant, but I want to caution you to be careful. Some of the ingredients that are labeled as vegan may not actually be vegan. I was surprised to find out that the sweet green sriracha sauce contains fish, which caught me off guard. Other than that, I highly recommend this place.
I appreciate the various poke restaurants that offer tofu, but it is the marinated root vegetables, eggplant, and edamame at Sweetfin that truly stole my heart. They serve them on a bed of citrusy or light green bamboo rice, topped with delicious ingredients like watermelon radishes, mango, and garlic chips. And don't worry, if you're a tofu fan, they've got you covered too.
Sweetfin is an excellent option, especially if you're at the mall. The menu offers plenty of vegan-friendly choices, including pre-designed vegan options or the option to create your own bowl. All items are clearly labeled. We decided to try the Shiitake Tofu bowl and the plant-based Sweetbox, both of which were delicious and fresh. I especially enjoyed the taro chips, which were so good that I ended up buying a bag to take home. The only downside was that both of our meals had an excessive amount of wasabi that caused a burning sensation...but that didn't stop me from enjoying my meal!
It's great to have a healthy dining option in the mall. I really liked the riced cauliflower dish with kale and tofu. Just be careful with the fried toppings as they can be a bit overwhelming.
