Exceptional Dining Experience at Prime Cut From the moment we arrived at the host stand, our experience at Prime Cut was exceptional. The hostesses were warm, friendly, and polished as they greeted us, inquired about our seating preferences, and escorted us to our table. The restaurant itself was stunning, and the breathtaking view of the mountainside added to the ambiance. Our server greeted us promptly, and upon learning it was our first visit, provided a brief history of the restaurant and its exciting new identity. The table-side cocktail was an impressive touch, leaving a pleasant smoky aroma reminiscent of a warm campfire. The corn chowder soup of the day was to die for! We thoroughly enjoyed the thick-cut bacon and tangy Bleu cheese in the wedge salad. The 10oz filet was perfectly cooked and melted in our mouths like butter. The house-made bordelaise sauce had such a depth of flavor that my taste buds were dancing. Janine and Caroline provided truly exceptional service. They were friendly, polite, and attentive. Our water glasses were never less than half full, all used cutlery and plates were removed discreetly, and we were never left wondering when the next dish would arrive. The chocolate cake with honeycomb was simply decadent and was presented beautifully with dry ice, adding a “wow” factor that finished the experience on a great note. Both the Chef and Manager visited our table to ensure we were satisfied with our experience, and we certainly were. The live pianist was a delightful surprise, adding an elegant touch to the ambiance. I can't wait to tell my friends and family about this hidden gem and have every intention of returning soon.
We were there on 5-18-2024. we ordered: caesar 's salad, steak potato america 22oz, australian wagyu tomahawk 32oz, baked loaded idaho potato, red wine, and the creme brulee. everything was fantastic. steaks were cooked to perfection. we will be back.
Some of the food wasn't labeled. Example they had hot custard. I think. It looked like cream of wheat with a layer on melted butter on top I had to ask what it was. The salad was just a bowl of lettuce unless I missed other cutraments. Couldn't find a vegetable anywhere. Lobster and primerib were fine which was the main dishes of the buffet
I have been going there for the last 5 years.There's only one other time.The food was terrible and that was saint patrick's day weekend. I booked Mother's Day thinking the food was gonna be extra special but it wasn't.It was terrible.That egg muffins were burnt. The lobster oyster shrimp. Prime river always exceptionally good but other than that, there wasn't a great variety of anything worth eating. The bread pudding was great, but as far as the whole menu it was terrible. My waitress used to be Missy, but now it's Ricky. Unfortunately she was not there yesterday, the waitress I had was terrible, didn't know anything and was late on serving the drinks, salt and pepper, I actually had to ask the bus boy for assistance. So it was terrible
