Sizzler - San Dimas

This is the best salad bar I have ever experienced. It is a wonderful spot for a quick and affordable meal, especially if you opt for the salad bar option (priced under $10). The variety of dishes is impressive and the taste and value for the restaurant service is exceptional.

I visited the restaurant today (Thursday 10-3-19) and was disappointed to find that it was officially closed. I have been a regular customer here for over 15 years, visiting every week. It is sad to see it close, as the employees were like friends to me. I took some final pictures to remember the good times I had here. Many customers arrived while I was taking pictures, mistakenly thinking the restaurant was still open. The shock on their faces when I informed them of the closure was palpable. Goodbye San Dimas Sizzler, and thank you for all the memories. The food was typical of what you would expect from a Sizzler, but what made this place special were the fantastic wait staff.

Original review: This restaurant has fantastic employees, especially Daisy and Freddy who make you feel at home and like the most important customer. Freddy has been there for at least 13 years. The steaks from the grill are always perfect. The restaurant is clean, except for the entrance on the Arrow Hwy side. The salad bar had many items stored in front and not properly, with black bananas in the banana pudding and old Menuedo and grey tripe. There were too many dry items and the hot items were sometimes cool, raising concerns about foodborne diseases. Despite the fantastic service, the fear of foodborne illness keeps me from being a regular customer.

It is old, decor is outdated, many seniors eat here and the location is isolated. What is not to love! It is perfect because it never wait for a table, the food is always fresh and tasty, service is excellent and the restaurant is always clean. I like this place and the crew here.

Good restaurant for dinner, nice salad bar and good ambient sound. Very clean and organized. Salmon Grilled is a good option
