Basil The Bold - San Francisc

Updated my ratings as per the owner's feedback and that they will make some changes. I have not been back since to try, but I wanted to increase my stars in response to the feedback.

I wasn’t even that hungry tbh, but tried one bite of their Larb Crispy Tofu and was instantly hooked! I ate the whole meal lol! : Can’t wait to try their other dishes. They all sound incredibly delicious!!

Hidden takeout spot inside a spacious Dogpatch building. Loved the larb tofu, the flavors, the crispiness. The broccoli was okay, a bit bitter, almost as if the seasoning was slightly burnt. The curry was very oily, but very delicious. Portions are on the small side, but the low prices reflect that. The person we picked up the food from was very friendly. The menu is limited, but if you're looking for some simple Thai food and flavors, some is better than nothing!

I've had Thai fusion before, but Basil the Bold is on another level and in their own category! Refreshing, tasty, fun, and dare I say bold? BOLD! Doing dishes deliciously different! Can't wait to try more meals from them :

We had Basil the Bold catered for our work office today and WOW, I cannot say enough good things about the food. The chicken curry and tofu curry were both off the charts delicious. The ingredients/flavoring were unique, and the texturing and the way everything was prepared was just absolute perfection! PanPan, the owner, is such an amazing and talented person her creations are nothing short of incredible. Highly recommend this place if you haven't tried it yet!
