The mochi tsukemen (limited? it was absolutely life changing. It is so different from regular tsukemen the textures of the noodle is so unique and goes perfectly. The spicy enoki mushroom chips were also good. They did not taste like mushrooms and reminded me of french fries a bit. The blaze ramen was delicious too for a craving of something w a kick. I recommend getting the mochi tsukemen if u can try it. Words won’t explain it. Just try it!!
Update* my most recent visit here was not good. I’ve dined here many times. This past time they used an absurd amount of Szechuan pepper in the ramen. I’ve had this same ramen before on many occasions and it was amazing. It was hardly edible this time. Disappointed at the lack of consistency for an expensive bowl of ramen and mandatory 20% service charge.. the broth also tasted more watered down than usual. Worth the wait. Completely forgot about the line once we got inside. Best ramen in the city, so many options that I know I’ll be back. Alcohol is super reasonably priced. Didn’t have a single drop left in my bowl.
This is one of the best VEGAN Ramens I've ever had.
This might be the best chain. I’ve now eaten in both the SF and Berkeley locations and the only word I can find, which escapes most multi location propositions, is consistency. In the way orchids are? No I’m the way that inspires the idea that something cannot disappoint.
