New Village Cafe - San Francisc

Food was so close to being good. My scramble was hot and they gave me cold potatoes with it. My wife got her food 15 minutes later. Her pancakes were cooked and bacon burnt. Had to ask multiple times for water and for a refill. The service was horrible.

I loved the pancake tacos! My server was really nice and I liked the friendly diner vibe of the place. I also appreciated the price which was better than I expected. The pancake tacos are $6 each or 3 for $15.

Everything tastes good! I really enjoyed the pancake breakfast they offered, I wouldn't change a thing but the price! I think it could've gone for like $12 instead of $15. Very simple, classic and diner style. We went on a Sunday and it was only slightly busy after the brunch rush.

I ordered the biscuits and gravy and this place knows how to make biscuits and gravy. Everyone at my table loved the food they ordered. The service was excellent and the waiter was very patient with this while we took our time ordering.

Love this place! First East African restaurant in San Francisco. Grateful for the amazing African dishes that Chef C makes. Was missing my Tanzanian families cooking, now I have a place to go to.‍
